The cottages at Tophouse Mountainview are simply charming. The cozy lounge, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms made us feel right at home. We loved having our own private deck with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and mountains. The drive to the property was scenic and the nearby St Arnaud and Rotoiti lake were absolutely stunning. The hosts were friendly and shared fascinating historical stories with us. We also appreciated the option to have dinner at the inn, which was a truly memorable experience. we had a fantastic time and would definitely book a stay here again.

During my stay, I had the most amazing experience of stargazing. The clear night sky allowed me to see countless stars and even witness a meteor. It was truly a magical sight and an unforgettable memory.
The bathroom was quite cold after taking a shower, but considering the colder climate in the area, it was expected and manageable.

We recently stayed at a cozy country retreat surrounded by stunning views of mountains. The cottage was well-equipped, allowing us to cook a full meal, and the recent refurbishment made it feel modern and comfortable. Despite being in the middle of a country area, it was remarkably quiet and peaceful. The hosts were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We hope the new owners maintain the excellent standard set by the previous ones. I highly recommend this retreat for a relaxing countryside getaway.
